You will depart on a sightseeing helicopter from the Papillon terminal located at Grand Canyon National Park Airport (GCN) in Tusayan/Grand Canyon Village South. Once in-route, you will have sweeping views over the North Rim, South Rim, and the remote Eastern portions of the Canyon. On the Imperial Air Tour you’ll have close up views of many of the Grand Canyon’s most magical spots. You’ll see the deepest and widest part of the Canyon, a region called the Dragon Corridor, the North Rim’s rugged Imperial Point, and many other colossal and marvelous sights. Sample Itinerary:

  • Clients arrive at Papillon terminal 30 minutes before departure for check-in
  • All passengers 18 years of age and older must present a government-issued photo ID
  • Clients board the helicopter. Roundtrip aerial flight time is approximately 40 - 50 minutes
  • Scenic views of the South, North, and Eastern rims of the Grand Canyon
  • Return to Grand Canyon Heliport

Terms and Conditions:

  • Bring your I.D. – Passengers 18 years and older must bring a government-issued form of identification.
  • Check-in is 30 minutes before the booked tour's start time.
  • All helicopter passengers will be weighed at the time of check-in. Papillon will charge passengers weighing 300 pounds (136 kg) or more for an additional comfort seat.
  • Pilot gratuity is not included and is left to individual discretion.
  • CANCELLATION POLICY: Tour may be changed or cancelled without penalty up to 72 hours before departure, subject to availability. Cancellations within 72 hours of departure are non-refundable. No-shows will be charged in full with no refund. Flights are subject to cancellation due to lack of passenger demand, weather, etc.
  • Baggage Restrictions - Due to limited space, purses, backpacks, and other baggage are not permitted on the aircraft.
  • All passengers are required to reconfirm their tour at least 24 hours in advance by contacting our reservations department at 928-638-2764. Please have your reservation number available. Our specialists are available daily from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm (Pacific Time). Reservations without confirmed pick-up information will be wait-listed.
  • FUEL SURCHARGE: A prime time supplement and/or fuel surcharge may apply.
