Grand Canyon Explorer with Sunset Hummer

Visitors to the Grand Canyon National Park have a unique opportunity to witness the best sights of the South Rim aboard both an airplane and a Hummer vehicle, with a special sunset experience. The airplane segment of this combination tour package departs from an air terminal nearby the park entrance. Passengers will see aerial views of the best regions of the Grand Canyon as well as ancient rock formations and the Colorado River from the comfort of their seat through an oversized window.

Upon return to the air terminal, passengers will then enjoy multiple lookout points along the canyon’s edge with transport in an open-air military Hummer vehicle. Stops include some of the most famous viewpoints with time to explore and take photos at each, with a special stop to watch the sun set across the ancient canyon walls.

Transportation:

  • Guests must provide their own transportation to our Grand Canyon Terminal.

Sample Itinerary:

  • Self Drive: Guests will check in at our Grand Scenic Canyon Airlines terminal 30 minutes prior to flight. 
  • Board an airplane equipped with high wings and large windows for optimum viewing and air-conditioned comfort. 
  • Views of Zuni Corridor, Imperial Point, Confluence of Colorado and Little Colorado Rivers, Kaibab National Forest, and Kaibab Plateau. 
  • Roundtrip flight is approximately 30 minutes. 
  • Upon arrival at the Grand Canyon airport, passengers are transferred to the Buck Wild Hummer Tours terminal. 
  • Once they are checked in and greeted by their knowledgeable driver guide, they'll board an open-aired hummer and set off to the Grand Canyon National Park. 
  • Stops are made at some of the most popular scenic lookout points within Grand Canyon National Park. The lookout points may include Pipe Creek Vista, Duck on a Rock, Grandview Point, Yapvapai Point, or Mather Point. 

Terms and Conditions:

  • All passengers aged 18 years and older traveling within the United States are required to present either a valid REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or passport. Any customer arriving without original, government-issued identification will be denied check-in, and no refunds will be issued for any guest in the reservation. Photocopies or digital images of identification cannot be accepted.
  • Check-in is 30 minutes before the booked tour's start time.
  • All airplane passengers will be weighed at the time of check-in. Passengers weighing 300 pounds (136 kg) or more will be charged for an additional seat.
  • Pilot gratuity is not included and is left to individual discretion.
  • CANCELLATION POLICY: Tour may be changed or canceled without penalty up to 48 hours prior to departure, subject to availability. Cancellations within 48 hours of departure are non-refundable. No-shows will be charged in full with no refund. Flights are subject to cancellation due to lack of passenger demand, weather, etc.
  • Baggage Restrictions - Due to limited space, purses, backpacks, and other baggage are not permitted on the aircraft.
  • HUMMER: Child Restrictions - Car or booster seats are required by Arizona law - for children under 8 years old or shorter than 4 feet, 9 inches (57 inches). Buck Wild Hummer Tours provides car seats and booster seats for no extra charge, be sure to choose them during your reservation process. You are welcome to use your own car seats or booster seats.
  • All passengers are required to reconfirm their tour at least 24 hours in advance by contacting our reservations department at 702-638-3300. Please have your reservation number available. Our specialists are available daily from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm (Pacific Time). Reservations without confirmed pick-up information will be wait-listed.
